How does it work?


Shoppers are independent contractors that use the Instacart platform to shop and deliver orders for their customers. 
  • Customers place their grocery order through select stores and then these shops get posted for Instacart shoppers to accept. 
  • You choose which batches you’d like to shop, with no limit on how many batches you can fulfill.
  • Information about the jobs such as stores, job pay etc. is posted and Shoppers get to choose which jobs they want to accept.
  • Shoppers get to create their own schedule by picking available hours they can shop
  • You can work on peak days to maximize your earnings



 Instacart Shopper Basic Requirements:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. or Canada
  • A smartphone with Android 5.0 or later, iOS 9 or later
  • A functional registered vehicle
  • Vehicle insurance, in accordance with local laws
  • Can lift 30+ pounds
  • Ability to follow Instacart’s food safety policies

How do you get paid?
